Build this OliviaTech DIY jib for about $40! I give all the details, dimensions, hardware, test shots and comments. And yeah, it's awesome! Read the description...there's a lot of info here!

Someone in Australia said you can get the nylon bushings by going to ebay.com.au and typing "NYLON Plastic Shoulder Washers Packs 10. Thanks!

The ones below are out of stock on Amazon. The only thing I can find is this:
1/4 x 1/2 Nylon Flange Bearing (25 pieces). They're TOO long, but i THINK(!) you could cut them shorter. Haven't tried it at all, so you're on your own if you try this. But for $6, not a real bad deal. I ran across this jib from OliviaTech.com and decided to build and test it. After figuring out all the exact dimensions and hardware, I decided to share it for all and make a DIY video. OMG!!! You guys who do DIY videos...Master Kudos! these take a LONG time to put together!

You'll need:

1" x 1" x 1/8" thick channel (angle)

(3) 3" long
(2) 7" long

3/4" x 1/16" think square aluminum (tube)

Hardware can be obtained from Home Depot, Lowe's, an auto parts or local hardware store.

You'll need:

1/4-20 Hex Head Bolts

(4) 1-1/2" long
(2) 1" long
(1) 3/4" long (specific to my mounting

Lock Nuts
------------------
(9) 1/4"-20 as shown

Nylon Flanged Bushings
-------------------------------------
(8) 1/4" (inside diameter) x 5/16" long

Flat Washers
----------------------
(16) 1/4" (inside diameter)

Fender Washer
--------------------------
(1) 3/8" (insider diameter) specific to my weights

PVC Plugs
