Olá fãs do a-ha, eu sou o Luiz Oliva e em cada vídeo estou trazendo informação e notícias sobre essa banda incrível que marcou gerações e continua a fazer sucesso pelo mundo.

Com letras e música de Pal Waaktaar, Magne (Mags) Furuholmen e produção de Alan Tarney, 'this alone is love' figura na quarta faixa do álbum SOTR.

Esta é a versão demo do estúdio Rendezvous (1984). É possível notar que parte do refrão e dos acordes são parte do que mais tarde seria usado em 'Scoundrel Days'. Ou seja, mesmo sendo uma música que só apareceu no terceiro álbum (SOTR), sua origem remete a ANTES do primeiro álbum (HHAL) e parte dela apareceu no segundo álbum (SD) da banda - além de trechos em FAKKELTOG, da banda Bridges.

Existem diálogos de um filme não identificado que pode ser ouvido durante a execução da demo.

Trechos dessa música são advindos da música 'May The Last Dance Be Mine' no álbum FAKKELTOG, da antiga banda do Paul e Magne, a Bridges. Outro trecho foi usado na canção 'Every Mortal Night' no mesmo álbum.
