Adiemus by Karl Jenkins, performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra & sung by Miriam Stockley, featuring video clips from Final Fantasy X and interpretive dancing by Russian prima ballerina Anastasia Volochkova. Her video was first posted by post8890 on April 13, 2008, I believe, but was made most popular by the postings done by TUXINO100 (over half a million hits, despite mislabeling the artist as Enya), poganka (an excerpt with over one million hits), but most impressively posted by CheatingNoob (over 300,000 hits.) Many other postings exist as well.

Also plaidnchainschik first thought to post Final Fantasy vid clips to Adiemus (over 650,000 hits) which is where I got my inspiration to match up Final Fantasy X with Volochkova. When I first saw one and then the other, I was amazed at the similarity between the choreographies of both the dance and the video game. Even the colors of yellow and blue in both mediums are of a strikingly similar hue.

Anyway, I cleaned up the soundtrack (I hope) and straightened out the synchronization between Volochkova and the song (which was off in some spots.) I also had to extend the song a bit in order synch up the dance with the video game clips. I hope you like it!

And finally, thanks so many MANY times to NCH Software for VideoPad Video Editor. It is free, and it is awesome! Try it, you'll like it!
