Here's the final version of the music video I made for Scoundrel Days, one of the greatest songs of A-ha, and my favorite song of all time. A-ha never released an official video, so I decided to make this one. I only used clips from their videos released on the 80s and early 90s, and I tried to keep it dynamic but also relevant to the lyrics, with an specific aesthetic that, hopefully, matched the mood of this masterpiece of a song.
It's also a gift I wanted to make to all the fans out there that were waiting for a video of this kind, and a gift to the band itself for composing this song and for being an important part of my life.
I remastered and color corrected every clip, so it doesn't look that old and also to keep that specific aesthetic I was talking about. I hope the result was worth the effort.
I called this one the ultimate fan music video for Scoundrel Days, since it's the best I can do. And also, since I haven't seen any other video of this song with so much love and effort put into it, I think the name fits. Hope you all enjoy it :)

Band from Norway that was real popular in the 80's. Spectacular, soaring vocals on this song track. 26 photos of the singer and the band in this video. Check out my other A-ha music video on Youtube

The black-and-white footage and animation in this video was actually the inspiration for the animation of "Take On Me." It originated as an art project for college, and went on to influence the generation of MTV.
The lyrics for this song were based on the existentialist authors and poets Hofmo, Hamsun and Dostoevski - Paul's favorites at the time.
"Train of Thought" was released as the third single from the debut album "Hunting High and Low" on 24 March 1986.
The video concept was designed by the same producers who brought "Take On Me" into the video mainstream.
Most of the video was old footage with animation. The live parts with the band were filmed during a break in the band's tour.
