I review the Kamerar 31" Fluid Motion Slider, which includes a carbon fiber rail system. It's a great buy for the money. More in the description. ▼

Kamerar sent me this 31" Fluid Motion Slider. I really like the carbon fiber rail system as it keeps the slider nice and light, yet sturdy. It includes a machined aluminum carriage plate, a great carrying bag, and NO plastic! This is a great solution for very smooth shots when you don't want to use noisy motors. .

Sure, you're going to need extra props for your drone, but are the low noise props really less noisier? I test record the gold props and inspect the levels in Adobe Audition to find out. Links and more in the description. ▼

This is the part two video, where I look at the Saramonic UwMic9 XLR Plug-on transmitter and receiver, and also cover how to daisy chain the SR-VRM1 audio recorder into the mix. This gives video creators an all-around solution to shooting video without having to worry about power, recorders and cables. With these two products, I found the units of great build quality, simple to use, convenient, and a great way to record everything like dialogue scenes, sound effects, instructional videos and more, without having to deal with cable runs and electricity. If this would work for your videos, I highly recommend it.

I am finally responding to a TON of requests, asking me to show what my camera settings are for video. So I grabbed a 5D Mark III and R.I.P. through them all. I used the 5D Mark III as I think that would cover just about any camera setting out there. And...Harlem Shake? Let it die! Please! :)

I have some cost comparable Rode mics sitting around and got curious...which of these sounds the best? Here's what I compared (I didn't compare the NTG-3 as it's almost THREE times the price and not a fair comparison):

Rode NTG-3: http://tinyurl.com/lsnvvgs
Rode NTG-2 (Best): http://tinyurl.com/ku5ydgt
Rode Lapel Mic (Second Best): http://tinyurl.com/koz85lz
Rode Video Mic (3rd Best - NOISY): http://tinyurl.com/mophxrv

Canon 5D Mark III.
Great camera? Yes.
Great sound? Of course not! Use an external mic!

This is the part one video, where I look at the Saramonic SR VRM1 XLR on mic audio recorder. I saw this unit when I was interviewing Jade from Saramonic at NAB. With this unit, and the other one mentioned in the video (which will be part two), this gives video creators an all-around solution to shooting video without having to worry about recorders and cables. I found the unit of great build quality, simple to use, convenient, and a great way to record everything like dialogue scenes, sound effects, instructional videos and more, without having to deal with cable runs and electricity. If this would work for your videos, I highly recommend it.
