Yes Acoustic is the video release of an acoustic concert recorded and broadcast live to movie theatres around the United States on January 26, 2004 following the première of the documentary Yesspeak. After the film was played in theatres, cameras cut live to a small studio in California with an audience of about 100 people, where Yes performed the first complete acoustic concert of their career. SOUTH SIDE OF THE SKY
A river a mountain to be crossed
The sunshine in mountains sometimes lost
Around the south side so cold that we cried
Were we ever colder on that day
A million miles away
It seemed from all of eternity
Move forward was my friend's only cry
In deeper to somewhere we could lie
And rest for the the day with cold in the way
Were we ever colder on that day
A million miles away
It seemed from all of eternity
The moments seemed lost in all the noise
A snow storm a stimulating voice
Of warmth of the sky
Of warmth when you die
Were we ever warmer on that day
A million miles away
It seemed from all of eternity
The sunshine in mountains sometimes lost
The river can disregard the cost
And melt in the sky warmth when you die
Were we ever warmer on that day a million miles away
We seemed from all of eternity

Lyrics:
Dr. Heckyll works late at the laboratory
Where things are not as they seem
Dr. Heckyll wishes nothing more desperately
Than to fulfill all of his dreams
Letting loose with a scream in the dead of night
As he's breaking new ground
Trying his best to unlock all the secrets
But he's not sure what he's found
Dr. Heckyll is his own little guinea pig
'Cos they all think he's mad
Sets his sights on the search of a lifetime
And he's never, never sad
Whoa oh, it's off to work he goes
In the name of science and all its wonders....
This is the story of Dr. Heckyll and Mr. Jive
They are a person who feels good to be alive
This is the story of Dr. Heckyll and Mr. Jive
Believes the underdog will eventually survive

Enjoy this very special performance Colin gave of "Down Under" at “The First Forty” 40th anniversary celebration for Santa Cruz Guitar Company. As you would expect, Colin shares an entertaining backstory about his introduction to Santa Cruz Guitars & also features a spot-on Ed Sullivan impersonation! This video comes to you first exclusively on Colin’s Newsletter! Song begins after Colin's opening comments at 5:00

A great, pleasant little pop tune. Excellent lyrics too. From the "Business As Usual" album. This is the first album I ever owned (received it as a Christmas present way back in 1983). The music you hear in this video is from that actual record. :)
