Tradução da canção "Beat It" do cantor Michael Jackson, presente no álbum Thriller de 1982. Composta por Jackson, a canção tem uma letra anti gangues e anti violência, um problema que infelizmente estava em alta na época. The expanding universe is a complicated place. During inflation the universe expanded faster than light, but that's something that actually happens all the time, it's happening right now. This doesn't violate Einstein's theory of relativity since nothing is moving through space faster than light, it's just that space itself is expanding such that far away objects are receding rapidly from each other. Common sense would dictate that objects moving away from us faster than light should be invisible, but they aren't. This is because light can travel from regions of space which are superluminal relative to us into regions that are subluminal. So our observable universe is bigger than our Hubble sphere - it's limited by the particle horizon, the distance light could travel to us since the beginning of time as we know it.
Since the 1960s, developmental psychologists point to the "Visual Cliff"—an experiment that plops babies on a fake precipice—as proof that infants learn to fear heights as they learn to crawl. Yet, over the past 25 years, a series of rigorous (and adorable) experiments by Karen Adolph of NYU's Infant Action Lab has shattered this myth, revealing that while babies can learn from experiences near high ledges or narrow bridges, it's not a phobia they acquire.

The 9 guitar quintets by Luigi Boccherini are probably arrangements of other pieces he wrote. Some were originally for piano quintet, some are combinations of pieces for other instruments. Nevertheless they sound very original, have a definite Spanish feel to them and make very enjoyable listening.
Of course two movements have become famous by themselves. There is the Fandango, the final movement of the fourth quintet with an unmistakable obviously Spanish rhythm. And the ninth quintet has the highly entertaining 'La ritirata di Madrid', depicting Madrid at night. Luciano Berio liked it so much that he made an arrangement of it.
A recording by La Magnifica Communitá. This ensemble has recorded Boccherini’s other quintets as well. They are here joined by guitarist Eros Roselli.

Beethoven’s complete string quintets by the Zurich String Quintet. This might be a surprise: Did Beethoven write that many string quintets? Yes and no.
In addition to the well-known quintet Op. 29, this set also includes the earlier Op. 4, which the composer later recomposed for octet (Op. 103). Beethoven also arranged his piano trio Op. 1 No. 3 for string quintet, it is his Op. 104. With the Fugue for string quintet, Op. 137, this release offers all there is by Beethoven for 5 string instruments.

Fermilab Director Nigel Lockyer presents current particle accelerator applications in industry, medicine and national security and discusses potential future applications: cleaning waste water, capturing gas at oil wells, treating flue gas at coal power stations, and improving durability of asphalt on roads and highways.
