Fifty years ago, we sent the first astronauts to walk on the moon’s face. But what they brought back is just as important as what got them there. I’m talking about moon rocks, guys. And I got to go visit NASA’s lunar sample vault to learn more about them! NASA’s moon rock collection has helped us learn so much about the early solar system, the formation of rocky planets like ours, and where our moon came from. And let me tell you, the story of our moon is a VIOLENT one. It involves the word “magmoon”. That’s an awesome word! "Laid So Low (Tears Roll Down)" is a song by the British band Tears for Fears.

As Curt Smith had already departed the band by this time, "Laid So Low" was effectively the first release of the Roland Orzabal "solo" era of Tears For Fears which would span most of the 1990s. It was released as a single in 1992 to coincide with the release of the band's Greatest Hits album Tears Roll Down (Greatest Hits 82-92). The song was a Top 20 hit in the UK, France, Italy, Poland and in the US Hot Modern Rock Tracks and a Top 40 hit in Canada, Germany and the Netherlands.

An earlier, mainly instrumental version of the song appeared as the B-side to the 1989 single "Sowing the Seeds of Love" where it was simply titled "Tears Roll Down". An animated video to this earlier version was included on the 1990 video collection Sowing The Seeds.
