Bubbles - When the Bananas accidentally put too much soap in their washing machine, it looks like Cuddlestown will be overrun by millions of soap bubbles. The situation becomes even worse when Rat gets too close to one giant bubble and gets trapped inside it and starts to float away. Now the Bananas have to find a way to pop the bubble and set Rat free. But they have to act fast – otherwise poor Rat might float away forever!

Since first airing in July 1992 as suited characters, Bananas in Pyjamas has been a phenomenal success not only in Australia but in more than 235 countries and continues to be loved by preschoolers around the world.
Now they are back with new stories, new laughs and new songs that will delight audiences everywhere as B1 and B2, their adorable friends the Teddies and the ever mischievous Rat in a Hat, romp their way through the magical world of Cuddlestown.
There are some new friends to meet too: Topsy the cheeky kangaroo, Charlie the inventive monkey and Bernard, the wise old dog. Join B1 and B2 along with their friends. There's lots of fun and adventures to be had.
Charlie and Lola
Charlie and Lola is a multi award winning cut out photomontage celaction 2D animation series aimed at a pre-school audience. It is adapted from the award winning children’s books written and illustrated by Lauren Child.
In each episode Charlie and Lola deal with issues that they as young children, encounter everyday. These little issues spiral into a succession of imaginative games, role plays and flights of fancy, normally invented by Charlie to coax his spirited little sister Lola round to seeing things in a more reasoned way.
The bananas are noted for their common catchphrase, often said when the duo get an idea where they bump into each other and say: "Are you thinking what I'm thinking, B1?" "I think I am, B2! It's {Bananas' ideas} time!". Rat in a Hat also has three catchphrases, "Oh, cheese and whiskers!", usually stated when he has not succeeded at a task; "Trust me, I'm a rat!" when trying to deceive other characters; and "I'm a rat, I'm a rat, I'm a clever clever rat", which he sings when he thinks of a good idea. Given the age of the target audience, chasing teddy bears is not usually a plot line for the show itself, and when it is depicted, it is usually in a playful manner. More often, the bananas engage in activities in singing, dancing, and playing with the other characters, and bantering with each other.

Carl Sagan's oft-quoted statement that there are "billions and billions" of stars in the cosmos gives an idea of just how much "stuff" is in the universe. However scientists now think that in addition to the type of matter with which we are familiar, there is another kind of matter out there. This new kind of matter is called "dark matter" and there seems to be five times as much as ordinary matter. Dark matter interacts only with gravity, thus light simply zips right by it. Scientists are searching through their data, trying to prove that the dark matter idea is real. Fermilab's Dr. Don Lincoln tells us why we think this seemingly-crazy idea might not be so crazy after all.
Of all of the known subatomic forces, the weak force is in many ways unique. One particularly interesting facet is that the force differentiates between a particle that is rotating clockwise and counterclockwise. In this video, Fermilab’s Dr. Don Lincoln describes this unusual property and introduces some of the historical figures who played a role in working it all out.
The manner in which particle physicists investigate collisions in particle accelerators is a puzzling process. Using vaguely-defined “detectors,” scientists are able to somehow reconstruct the collisions and convert that information into physics measurements. In this video, Fermilab’s Dr. Don Lincoln sheds light on this mysterious technique. In a surprising analogy, he draws a parallel between experimental particle physics and bomb squad investigators and uses an explosive example to illustrate his points. Be sure to watch this video… it’s totally the bomb.
One of the most difficult things in learning particle physics for the first time is to understand all of the various names. There are dozens and dozens and sometimes many names can apply to one particle or a single name can apply to many particles. It’s all very confusing. Luckily, Fermilab’s Dr. Don Lincoln made this video to help you sort it all out.

Most particle physics research is publicly funded, so it is fair that society asks if this is a good use of taxpayers’ money. In this video, Fermilab’s Dr. Don Lincoln explains how this research attempts to answer questions that have bothered humanity since time immemorial. And, for those with a more practical bent, he explains how this research is an excellent investment with a high rate of return for society.
The hunt for the top quark at Fermilab was heating up in 1994 when scientist Mike Albrow and his colleagues on the CDF experiment felt they were close to cornering the last, undiscovered member of the quark family. Albrow tells one story about the lead-up to the discovery of the particle by CDF and DZero.
Linda Bagby keeps Fermilab's neutrino experiments grounded. As an engineering physicist and electrical coordinator for Fermilab’s short-baseline neutrino program, she integrates the electronic subsystems into an experiment where all the electronics work together. You might find her cheerfully fielding questions in Wilson Hall, taking painstaking measurements at one of the detector sites or meticulously inspecting equipment at a test site.
