El profesor Francisco Mora explica en el siguiente vídeo la importancia del cerebro humano en la enseñanza y la forma de aprender. “Está naciendo una nueva cultura, la cultura “neuro”, que significa que la esencia del ser humano, lo que aprende y memoriza, es producto del funcionamiento del cerebro. Intentar enseñar sin conocer cómo funciona el cerebro será algo así como diseñar un guante sin nunca antes haber visto una mano”, sostiene Mora.
El neuroeducador aporta herramientas y claves básicas para motivar a los estudiantes en el aula. “Hay que hablar menos de la atención y más de la motivación”, afirma. Y para ello propone el uso educativo de la curiosidad y el cambio en el formato de clases interminables. “Cada 10 o 15 minutos hay que romper el discurso en clase contando una anécdota o un chiste, porque hay episodios atencionales”, defiende.

¿Cómo enseñar a los más pequeños a gestionar y comprender mejor sus propias emociones?
El psicólogo Rafael Guerrero explica en este vídeo y en su libro ‘Educación emocional y apego’, los siete pasos para convertirse en un experto emocional. "Debemos conocer las emociones, darles un nombre, reconocerlas e identificarlas, permitir que los niños las sientan y expresen, que reflexionen. Y debemos enseñar herramientas y narrativa para que las comprendan y den una respuesta adecuada a esa emoción”, explica el experto.
Licenciado en Psicología Clínica y de la Salud por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y Doctor en Educación, Rafael Guerrero ha dedicado gran parte de su carrera profesional a la investigación, el ejercicio clínico y la docencia en la Facultad de Educación en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y del Centro Universitario Cardenal Cisneros.
