a-ha é uma banda norueguesa formada pelo vocalista Morten Harket, o guitarrista Paul Waaktaar-Savoy e o tecladistaMagne Furuholmen.
Após formarem o grupo em 1982, saíram da Noruega rumo a Londres com o objetivo de fazer uma carreira no mundo da música. A origem do nome a-ha surgiu após Magne ter lido este termo num caderno de anotações de músicas e outras composições de Paul. Todos gostaram da idéia. O "a-ha" vem da exclamação "aha!!", no sentido de surpresa ou algo novo. (todos aprovaram).

The band formed in 1982 and is most known for their major hit “Take On Me”, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in October 1985. A-ha has sold over 40 million albums and over 70 million singles. The band split in 2010, but re-united in 2015 and is performing five of their largest hits at this year’s Nobel Peace Prize Concert.
