Newton's Three Laws of Motion are a landmark achievement in physics. They describe how all objects move. Unfortunately most people do not really understand Newton's Laws because they have pre-existing ideas about the way the world works. This film is about those pre-existing ideas. By recognizing what people are thinking, it becomes easier to describe the correct scientific concepts of Newton's Three Laws and how they differ from this 'intuitive physics'.
I saw my first wild koalas while driving on the great ocean road. Generally their days are not very exciting. They spend most of their time sleeping and the rest of the time eating eucalyptus leaves. The eucalyptus leaves are tough to digest which explains their consumate napping. Plus they require bacteria in their gut to help them break down their food. This bacteria must be passed down from mother to child through the mother's poo. It's a tough start to life for koalas!
It's the most abundant liquid on the planet and by weight we are about 60% water. But do we know what it is made of?
Right after leaving the platform, the only significant force acting on the bungy jumper is his weight. This causes him to speed up from rest. His speed increases every second by nearly 10 m/s. This is not the maximum acceleration experienced by a bungy jumper, however.

Two 1.5kg masses are released simultaneously from the top of a 10m high wall. One is attached to a chain while the other is free. Which one will hit the ground first?
When the rope becomes taut, the force on the jumper is mainly his weight downwards, plus a bit of air resistance up. Therefore his speed is increasing nearly as much as it did when he leapt off the platform. So this is not the greatest acceleration of the jump.
Strange flying objects have been caught on NASA’s cameras and astronauts have reported seeing UFOs. Some can be identified; others remain a mystery. We’ll reveal NASA footage and interview the astronauts and scientists.

NASA announced its returned mission to the moon by 2024, titled Artemis it will cost an estimated $20-$30 billion. They plan to go to the moon in their SLS mega-rocket and begin building a lunar gateway. The mission will focus on the possibilities of mining resources on the moon, including water for rocket fuel and will lead to future deep space travel and lunar bases in what can be considered the new era of space exploration.

NASA’s $30 Billion Moon Return Mission, Explained | Beyond Earth
Join NASA Psyche Mission Co-Investigator Dr. Tim McCoy as he takes us on a journey from his first geology class to his current role as Curator-in-Charge of the US National Meteorite Collection at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and his role on the Psyche Mission Science Team. Along the way, McCoy highlights the significance of studying a metallic asteroid and what it may be able to tell us about the formation of the solar system and our own planet. It’s the journey of a lifetime, and he didn’t want to miss it.
Psyche is both the name of an asteroid orbiting the Sun between Mars and Jupiter — and the name of a NASA space mission to visit that asteroid, led by Arizona State University.

NASA's Parker Solar Probe mission has returned unprecedented data from near the Sun, culminating in new discoveries published on Dec. 4, 2019, in the journal Nature. Among the findings are new understandings of how the Sun's constant outflow of material, the solar wind, behaves. Seen near Earth -- where it can interact with our planet's natural magnetic field and cause space weather effects that interfere with technology -- the solar wind appears to be a relatively uniform flow of plasma. But Parker Solar Probe's observations reveal a complicated, active system not seen from Earth.

NASA astronaut Nicole Stott examines scenes depicting space from movies and television and breaks down how accurate they really are. What actually happens when your helmet cracks in space like in Total Recall? Are the spacewalks in Gravity realistic? Could there really be AI on a space station like in 2001: A Space Odyssey?

Estimates say that a vehicle-sized asteroid explodes in our atmosphere about once per year, often too high to make a noticeable impact.
But in 2013, a small meteor exploded just 20 miles above Chelyabinsk, Russia that sent over 1,200 people to the hospital.
Today, a team of experts from NASA’s Planetary Defense Coordination Office works diligently to find asteroids that travel near Earth’s orbit.
They’ve released a plan in order to prevent a large-scale asteroid impact, and part of this plan is the DART mission.
DART aims to travel to the asteroid Didymos in 2021 to demonstrate the tech that could be used to redirect an asteroid headed for Earth.

Fifty years ago, we sent the first astronauts to walk on the moon’s face. But what they brought back is just as important as what got them there. I’m talking about moon rocks, guys. And I got to go visit NASA’s lunar sample vault to learn more about them! NASA’s moon rock collection has helped us learn so much about the early solar system, the formation of rocky planets like ours, and where our moon came from. And let me tell you, the story of our moon is a VIOLENT one. It involves the word “magmoon”. That’s an awesome word! Enjoy this video, and I hope you learn not just some lunar geology, but also how exploring the moon helped change what the space program was all about.

Letra: (Daniel Calveti y Rojo)
ahhhhhh
ohhh
