Since first airing in July 1992 as suited characters, Bananas in Pyjamas has been a phenomenal success not only in Australia but in more than 235 countries and continues to be loved by preschoolers around the world.
Now they are back with new stories, new laughs and new songs that will delight audiences everywhere as B1 and B2, their adorable friends the Teddies and the ever mischievous Rat in a Hat, romp their way through the magical world of Cuddlestown.
There are some new friends to meet too: Topsy the cheeky kangaroo, Charlie the inventive monkey and Bernard, the wise old dog. Join B1 and B2 along with their friends. There's lots of fun and adventures to be had.
Charlie and Lola
Charlie and Lola is a multi award winning cut out photomontage celaction 2D animation series aimed at a pre-school audience. It is adapted from the award winning children’s books written and illustrated by Lauren Child.
In each episode Charlie and Lola deal with issues that they as young children, encounter everyday. These little issues spiral into a succession of imaginative games, role plays and flights of fancy, normally invented by Charlie to coax his spirited little sister Lola round to seeing things in a more reasoned way.
The bananas are noted for their common catchphrase, often said when the duo get an idea where they bump into each other and say: "Are you thinking what I'm thinking, B1?" "I think I am, B2! It's {Bananas' ideas} time!". Rat in a Hat also has three catchphrases, "Oh, cheese and whiskers!", usually stated when he has not succeeded at a task; "Trust me, I'm a rat!" when trying to deceive other characters; and "I'm a rat, I'm a rat, I'm a clever clever rat", which he sings when he thinks of a good idea. Given the age of the target audience, chasing teddy bears is not usually a plot line for the show itself, and when it is depicted, it is usually in a playful manner. More often, the bananas engage in activities in singing, dancing, and playing with the other characters, and bantering with each other.

Jobs Galore - The Bananas are unhappy that Amy can't come out to play because she has so many jobs to do. But when they try to help her, they end up making a bigger mess and creating even more jobs for her. The other Teddies think that if they all pitch in and work together, they can get the jobs done faster and everyone will have time to play. Can they make it work?
The Talking Bird - When the Bananas discover a talking bird in the forest, they have trouble proving to the Teddies that it's real. The Bananas are amazed that Billy the parrot can talk, but each time the Bananas they bring the Teddies to see him, he disappears.
The Surf Off - The Bananas explore their town of Cuddlestown with their best friends Rat In A Hat and teddies - Lulu, Morgan and Amy. Rat is telling fibs again. But he comes unstuck when he boasts to the Bananas that he's a great surfer. The word soon spreads and before he can say "cheese and whiskers", everyone in Cuddlestown is on the beach to watch him do his surfing tricks. He will need a miracle to transform himself into a water rat. How is Rat going to get out of this one?
Topsylocks - Amy's favourite story is Goldilocks and the Three Bears, so when a mysterious stranger sneaks into the Teddies' house and eats all Amy's porridge, she thinks she knows who was reponsible. But does Goldilocks really exist? The Bananas decide to find out. Disguising themselves as bears, they try to track down the mystery porridge-eater. Who could it be?

Over the Moon - The Bananas love the nursery rhyme 'Hey Diddle Diddle' and think a cow really did jump over the moon. So when the Teddies tell them that it's only a story, they try all sorts of ways to prove that it's possible, but nothing they try works. Can their friend Camembert the cow help?
The Cuddlestown Band - The Cuddlestown Band sounds great except for one small thing - none of the musicians can play in time together!
The Camping Trip - B1 and B2 take the Teddies on a trip to a mountain campsite, but when Rat hears a huge storm is heading their way, he realises he must go to their rescue. Rat tricks the Bananas into buying a lot of old camping gear he doesn't want but then finds he's actually out-tricked himself.
The PIe - Topsy’s having a 'Shake and Bake' party and the Bananas have made her favourite apple pie. The Bananas are on lifeguard duty to make sure everyone stays safe. Rat is determined to win at least one of the prizes on offer, but the Bananas always manage to come out on top.
Games - The Bananas get into trouble when they realise that they've promised to play different games with different friends all at the same time. Amy loves football and wants to play it all the time. But everyone else is tired of football and wants to play other games. Amy decides that if they don't want to play football, she'll just play by herself. She learns that playing football by herself just isn't much fun.

In this video, Fermilab's Dr. Don Lincoln describes the principle of supersymmetry in an easy-to-understand way. A theory is supersymmetric if it treats forces and matter on an equal footing. While supersymmetry is an unproven idea, it is popular with particle physics researchers as a possible next step in particle physics.
Dr. Don Lincoln introduces one of the most fascinating inhabitants of the subatomic realm: the neutrino. Neutrinos are ghosts of the microworld, almost not interacting at all. In this video, he describes some of their properties and how they were discovered. Studies of neutrinos are expected to be performed at many laboratories across the world and to form one of the cornerstones of the Fermilab research program for the next decade or more.
Scientists are aware of four fundamental forces- gravity, electromagnetism, and the strong and weak nuclear forces. Most people have at least some familiarity with gravity and electromagnetism, but not the other two. How is it that scientists are so certain that two additional forces exist? In this video, Fermilab’s Dr. Don Lincoln explains why scientists are so certain that the strong force exists.

Einstein's equation E = mc2 is often said to mean that energy can be converted into matter. More accurately, energy can be converted to matter and antimatter.
During the first moments of the Big Bang, the universe was smaller, hotter and energy was everywhere. As the universe expanded and cooled, the energy converted into matter and antimatter. According to our best understanding, these two substances should have been created in equal quantities. However when we look out into the cosmos we see only matter and no antimatter.
The absence of antimatter is one of the Big Mysteries of modern physics. In this video, Fermilab's Dr. Don Lincoln explains the problem, although doesn't answer it. The answer, as in all Big Mysteries, is still unknown and one of the leading research topics of contemporary science.

Radioactive decay is the transmutation of one subatomic particle into another. In most instances, what happens is that existing particles move to new configurations. However in radioactive decays using the weak force, a particular kind of particle disappears and is replaced by a completely different particle. In this video, Fermilab’s Dr. Don Lincoln talks about how it all works and even describes a type of decay that has never been observed and, if it were observed, it would require the textbooks be rewritten.
