La gestión de las emociones, respetar y saber decir que no, son algunos de los principios fundamentales de las relaciones humanas según la doctora en psicología Clínica y de la Salud, Laura Rojas-Marcos. En el siguiente vídeo, la psicóloga reflexiona sobre la importancia de saber decir que no, y sentirse cómodo con ello. Laura Rojas-Marcos destaca la familia como la primera escuela y el entorno de convivencia ideal para aprender a manejar las emociones. “Convivir no es fácil, estamos hablando de cómo gestionamos los conflictos, nuestras emociones y cómo establecemos límites”.

A través de sus libros, entre los que destacan: ‘La familia’, ‘Somos cambio’, ’Hablar y aprender’, Rojas-Marcos nos brinda la oportunidad de observar diferentes aspectos de la condición humana: cómo favorecer una autoestima positiva, el impacto que tienen las relaciones familiares en el desarrollo emocional o qué es la asertividad y cómo podemos ayudar a nuestros hijos a que sean más asertivos. “Las personas asertivas saben lo que quieren, saben lo que piensan y se toman el tiempo para pensar, para decidir y para actuar", reflexiona. Laura Rojas-Marcos ha sido seleccionada entre las Top 100 Mujeres Líderes en España y colabora con instituciones dedicadas a diversos temas sociales y de salud mental.

Para Victoria Camps “la felicidad no es una cuestión de fórmulas, consignas ni recetas fáciles. Es un esfuerzo constante del individuo y un aprendizaje”. Ella es una de las grandes figuras de la Filosofía contemporánea en España. Doctora en Filosofía moral y política, profesora, investigadora, escritora y experta en Bioética, en la actualidad es miembro permanente del Consejo de Estado. En los últimos años ha centrado su investigación en la gestión de las emociones, siempre desde la perspectiva de la Filosofía. Un tema que aborda en su libro más reciente, ‘La búsqueda de la felicidad’.

Su trabajo ha destacado por la defensa de la democracia participativa, el Estado de bienestar y la ética como instrumento de formación ciudadana. También ha sido una firme defensora del empoderamiento de la mujer y de su participación activa en la política. Camps ha recibido numerosos premios y es una escritora prolífica. Entre sus publicaciones destacan obras como ‘Creer en la educación’, ‘El siglo de las mujeres’, ‘El gobierno de las emociones’ y ‘Elogio de la duda’’.

En este vídeo, el psicólogo Alberto Soler explica cómo las etiquetas influyen en la conducta y el rendimiento académico de los niños. “En el momento que tenemos una etiqueta puesta acabamos comportándonos de acuerdo con esa etiqueta y es muy difícil quitárnosla”. En los años 60 se hizo un experimento en el que se asignó intencionadamente la etiqueta de “muy inteligentes” a 65 alumnos de un grupo de 320 estudiantes, un dato falso. Lo sorprendente es que al acabar ese curso, aquellos 65 estudiantes obtuvieron mejores resultados en las pruebas de inteligencia porque los profesores esperaban más de ellos.

Alberto Soler es psicólogo y Máster en Psicología Clínica y de la Salud con más de 10 años de experiencia clínica y asesoramiento a padres. Soler es conferenciante y colaborador habitual en prensa, radio y televisión. En su videoblog, Píldoras de Psicología, y en el libro “Hijos de padres felices”, del que es co-autor, da respuesta a las dudas universales sobre educación, crecimiento personal y crianza.

¿Qué son las "huellas de comportamiento"? ¿Qué mensajes transmitimos con nuestra forma de vestir, nuestro peinado o la forma de organizar nuestro hogar?

El psicólogo David Matsumoto explica en este vídeo las claves de la "conducta no verbal", pequeños gestos y comportamientos, que influyen en la comunicación no verbal. Su propuesta consiste en crear entornos educativos que favorezcan el compromiso de los estudiantes: "Mucho de lo que aprenden los niños no tiene que ver solo con lo que se enseña, sino con lo que ven que tú haces y cómo tratas a los demás. Da igual lo que les digas, el aprendizaje observacional es muy importante", afirma Matsumoto.

David Matsumoto es un reconocido experto en el campo de la comunicación no verbal, el lenguaje gestual y las emociones. Psicólogo y profesor de psicología en la Universidad Estatal de San Francisco, además es el fundador y director de el Laboratorio de Investigación en Cultura y Emociones, que estudia el papel de la cultura, la emoción, la interacción social y la comunicación del ser humano.

“¿Realmente molestan los extranjeros, o lo que molestan son los pobres, sean extranjeros o de la propia casa?” A partir de esta reflexión, la filósofa Adela Cortina, catedrática emérita de Ética y Filosofía Política en la Universidad de Valencia, acuñó una nueva palabra: “aporofobia”, para definir el rechazo al pobre, como discriminación universal. En este vídeo plantea la ironía por la que turistas y extranjeros con dinero son bienvenidos, pero personas sin recursos, no. La ética tiene una respuesta para esto.

Adela Cortina es directora de la Fundación Étnor (Ética de los negocios y las Organizaciones empresariales) y durante años ha liderado el análisis contemporáneo de filosofía política y ética aplicada, reivindicando la importancia de la educación en valores y la filosofía en la escuela. Fue la primera mujer que ingresó en la Real Academia de Ciencias Morales y Políticas, institución que en 2019 reconoció su trayectoria filosófica con la publicación del libro ‘Ética y filosofía política: Homenaje a Adela Cortina’, que reúne la reflexión de medio centenar de autores sobre su pensamiento y enseñanzas. Cortina es también autora de libros como ‘El quehacer ético’, ‘Para qué sirve realmente la ética’, por el que recibió el Premio Nacional de Ensayo 2014 y ‘Aporofobia, el rechazo al pobre’.
