Get ready for hilarity, because this week, we're diving head first into Greek Comedy. Actually, though, maybe don't get TOO ready for hilarity. Taste in humor has changed a little over the last couple of thousand years. You already know about Greek Tragedies, with their hamartia and catharsis and whatnot. Today we're going to look at how Greek comedy evolved out of those tragedies, first as Satyr plays, and later as full-blown comedies. So come along. There are a few laughs involved, I promise.

For as long as Hank has hosted Crash Course, he's wanted to host a series about the history of science. We've been asking big questions for a really long time and we've all wanted to explore how we've sought to answer those questions through the centuries. Questions like, "What is stuff?" and "Where are we?" have inspired people all over the world to investigate. So lets dive in and see how we, as a people, have tried to figure this stuff out.

Meu novo amor

Yo tengo un nuevo amor,
Eu tenho um novo amor

el corazón me late sin parar,
o coração me late sem parar

hay uno que Me ha dicho
há um que me tem dito

te amo de verdad,
te amo de verdade

jesús mi amor
Jesus meu amor

y mas que amor
e mais que amor

mi dulce paz.
Minha doce paz

Yo tengo un nuevo amor
Eu tenho um novo amor

jamas imagine poder hallar,
jamais imajinei poder encontrá-lo

aquel que Le Dio a mi vida
aquele que deu a minha vida

Una razón para amar,
Uma razão para amar

jesús mi amor
Jesus meu amor

y más que amor
e mais que amor

mi dulce paz.
minha doce paz

jesús é toda a minha Verdade

y nunca Yo me cansare
e nunca me cansarei

de repetir hasta el final.
De repetir até o final

Yo tengo un nuevo amor,
Eu tenho um novo amor

el corazón me late sin parar,
o coração me late sem parar

Y nunca yo me cansare
E nunca eu me cansarei

de repetir hasta el final.
De repetir até o final

What is globalization? Is globalization a good thing or not. Well, I have an answer that may not surprise you: It's complicated. This week, Jacob and Adriene will argue that globalization is, in aggregate, good. Free trade and globalization tend to provide an overall benefit, and raises average incomes across the globe. The downside is that it isn't good for every individual in the system. In some countries, manufacturing jobs move to places where labor costs are lower. And some countries that receive the influx of jobs aren't prepared to deal with it, from a regulatory standpoint. Anyway, Jacob and Adriene can explain the whole thing to you in 10 minutes.
