Trek: Spy On The Wildebeest
The famous spy-cams turn their attention to nature's most awe-inspiring event - the great wildebeest migration. Trek features a cast of literally thousands, as countless wildebeest, zebra and antelope are joined by the hyena, leopard, jackal, cheetah and crocodile that prey on them. To personalise this story, remote cameras follow the fortunes of a baby wildebeest and a young zebra. Each has a very different story to tell. From their perspective, viewers experience all the significant events of the 3000 kilometre year-long circular journey. This epic story combines natural humour with high-octane drama. But the bouldercams, dungcams and invisiblecams of past productions have grown into an army of over twenty mobile and remote cameras, giving saturation coverage.

The Trials Of Life
Sir David Attenborough continues his study of animal behaviour in the third instalment of his award-winning Life series. Beginning with the ways in which animals arrive in the world and ending with the extraordinary techniques they employ to reproduce, the Trials of Life is one of the most comprehensive wildlife documentaries ever made. Taking some three and a half years to make, Attenborough travelled almost a quarter of a million miles to complete this fascinating and insightful documentary.

Natural World: Empire Of The Desert Ants
Against the Chiricahua Mountains of southern Arizona, Empire of the Desert Ants takes an in-your-face look at the violent world of desert honey ants. Charting the fate of a single colony over several years, the ants battle all-comers for survival and dominance over the small patch of desert that is their world. Both the big picture and every minute detail are captured in this dramatic and fascinating film using the latest camera techniques and visual effects. Macro-photography shows the heart of their epic confrontations and the very core of life in the honey ant colony. Battle plans, defensive strategies and 'team' tactics are presented using the latest battlefield technologies. Also revealed are parallel worlds dominated by hidden forces - chemical weaponry, ultra-sonic sound, pheromones, ultra-violet and polarised light - as well as detailed characterisations of the different members of the colony.

Natural World: Hippos
The hippo. A territorial beast that spends most of its time in water. An aquatic mammal that can't swim. A two-tonne hulk that can sprint faster than a human. And a seemingly placid oaf that guards its family with fierce cunning. Using specialist camera technology to get up close and personal with hippos for the very first time, this film follows these animals through the seasons in the Okavango Delta. It reveals that while hippos may be boisterous, aggressive and bold, they are also sensitive, sociable and often comical. An intimate, immersive portrayal revealing a side of hippos never seen – or heard – before.
